Wadah Khanfar: A historic moment in the Arab world

Sourced from San Franciso Sentinel

Wadah Khanfar, the head of Al Jazeera, asserts that “the future that we were dreaming of has finally arrived”.  Speaking about the events happening in the Arab world – especifically about the young people who now as tech-savy individuals have decided to go out of their houses, raise their voices and say “we would like to see the end of the regime!” – he expresses great hope that real change may finally be possible.  Unlike the “liberation” of Iraq, Egypt and Tunisia, and now perhaps Libya, are finding courage and will within their own people to demand their own lives back.
