The Story of Bottled Water
The Story of Stuff tells the story of the manufactured demand of North Americans buying more than half a billion bottles of water every week when it already flows from the tap. Bottled water is explored through industry attacks on tap water and its use of seductive, environmental-themed advertising to cover up the mountains of plastic waste it produces.
A call to take back the tap is highly encouraged. Not only will it make a personal commitment in avoiding bottled water, but also supports investments in clean, available tap water for all.
