Mozilla Seabird 2D – Glimpse into tomorrow’s mobile phones

The team at Firefox recently released a video of a concept phone. While they don’t plan to make it themselves, they hope the features presented will be included in all mobile phones in the near future.

“While mobile CPUs, connectivity and development platforms begin approaching that of desktops, the lagging ability to efficiently input information has grown ever more pronounced,” said Billy May, the team leader behind the virtual phone. “The Seabird, then, introduces a few possibilities into how user interaction might evolve with the advancing motion capture and projector driven innovation in the market.”
