Young Malaysians in Melbourne were outraged by this comment from their Prime Minister. [pullquote]On the May 8th protest, they held up signs saying “we are not Malay or Chinese or Indians, we are all Malaysian at first.”[/pullquote]
Yong also attended another protest in Melbourne last Saturday, May 11th, dressing in all black to support the rally. She said disappointedly, “I know that maybe nothing can be changed, but the world needs to know what is happening in Malaysia.”
