What is E-Waste?

E-Waste is the disposal or recycling of electronics, especially kitchen and other house appliances. More than 130 million mobile phones get recycled every year in the US, and a typical person disposes their mobile phone every 18 months. One way to control the waste stream is by sending your old mobile phone to developing countries, so other people can have access to technology that is not always made available to them.
