Doomsday Fast Approaching: Avoidable If We Choose
citizens, but the American government, as we are very familiar with, has immense power in the global economic theatre. His point is that in order to curtail carbon consumption and move towards more responsible energy practices, a large, if not majority, portion of people need to speak up and against lobby groups that are only concerned with securing profits for their respective firms. The point needs to be made that profits are only meaningful if there is an inhabitable planet to spend them on.
If the U.N. scientists are correct in their calculations and recovery projects are as futile and as yet non-existent as they appear to be, significant changes to not only industry but the public conscious needs to happen now.
