Darryl Granger, a cave geologist, explores the world’s largest and deepest holes in China. He assembles a team to journey with him into the caves to figure out why there are so many, and how they were formed.

The strange landscape in China was discovered ten years ago, and has started a long frontier of exploring for geologists. The team investigates a cave that is deep enough to cover the Eiffel Tower. It is a breathing cave, meaning that it releases air every second.

Granger wants to figure out where the air is coming from, and how it is traveling such a long distance in the cave.
