Mark Owen’s No Easy Day

mark owen (qbd)Mark Owen is one of the shooters who shot Osama Bin Laden, and his book No Easy Day explains the details of the mission. In the video, his voice and the look of his face have been altered to protect his identity.

In 2011, Owen and his team walked into a secret compound in Pakistan and knew right away that they found Bin Laden. The neighbors identified Bin Laden as the pacer who walked around in the garden. The compound was a mile from the Pakistani Military Academy.

They waited for the helicopters so they could provide security external on the roof and around the house to make sure there were no tunnels for the residents to escape. Before making an attack on the compound, no one could confirm that the pacer was Bin Laden, so everyone was on stand by waiting for Obama to launch the raid.
