Sitting is killing you


The modern workplace was not designed for the human body. Spending hours sitting on your butt, starring at a screen, typing away to turn electrons into information may be productive, but it’s hardly healthy. It’s quite common to pack on a good 10-15 pounds whenever you first start a desk job, and if you don’t exercise, that extra weight may stick on you for life.
